I got an overpayment letter from the VA. Why?

Updated October 14, 2022

The VA, based on information certified by the school, assesses overpayments. Overpayments are typically created based on changes in enrollment, such as withdrawing from courses, receiving a failing grade due to non-attendance, or changing your class schedule after you certify your schedule to the PCC Veteran Services Office. You can contact the PCC Veteran Services Office to find out what has been reported to the VA at 971-722-4502 or email veterans@pcc.edu. For an explanation of the amount of the debt, you will need to contact the VA Regional Education Office at 888-442-4551.
