Details about this class

In this class we continue studying English in all skills areas: reading, writing, listening and reading.

We also practice computer skills and necessary school skills to help you succeed at Portland Community College.

In order for students to pass this class, they usually take the class at least three times.  A few students move to Level 3 faster, some students also take longer than three times before they are ready for Level 3.  We study different chapters and vocabulary each term.

My goal as a teacher is to create an accepting and interactive learning community where students feel safe, accepted, and enabled to learn to read, write, listen to and read English.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
