Women in Math: The Limit Does Not Exist
The Podcast
In 2016, I developed this podcast with the help of several of my female-identifying students. This podcast is an effort to promote visibility of women in mathematics. Inspired by the fact that women are a vast minority in higher mathematics courses, Women in Math: The Limit Does Not Exist serves to increase enrollment and participation of women in mathematics and STEM courses.

If you have any interest in participating in this podcast, then please let me know!
What to record: I usually suggest (auto)biographies and/or conversations, but I am happy to work with other ideas you may have. If you are doing a biography, please research the mathematician and write up what you’d like to record. If you are doing a conversation, I recommend preparing a couple topics, but don’t write a script. Same as if you are doing an interview. If you have any other ideas, then I’d love to hear them! If you are interested in recording in a different language, I would also love that!
Recording: Generally, I’d like to set up a room for you to record in. I’ll bring my computer, a microphone, and show you how to record and stop recording. I will then leave the room to allow you privacy. That said, if you want to do this without my equipment, then that’s totally fine. If you have a room or space that has a bit less aural interference, then that would be ideal to set up your own stuff and hit record. When you are finished, please send me the audio file(s).
After Recording: I will go through an editing process with the audio file(s). I will upload the finished file privately and share it with you. If you feel that the recording accurately reflects what you want to put on the internet, then I will post the episode in time. Moreover, at some point I’d like to take a picture of you to post to the podcast’s Instagram page.
If at any time you’d like your recording taken down, you need only let me know, and I will remove the episode.

2. Regardless of if you participate, choose not to participate, or any other decision you make regarding this podcast, there will be no negative reflection on you at all.
3. Please don’t burn any instructors by name. I have no problem with you calling out anyone’s behavior, and under certain circumstances naming people is perfectly acceptable, but as a standard, let’s not burn anyone down.
