Here are the slides from today.
Today we?reviewed prepositions describing a location (prepositions of place). We talked about where we live or where we work. We reviewed the prepositions on page 57, did E on page 58 and did the listening on pages 60-61, A, B, C and D.
On Friday there is the Unit 3 test. These are the parts:
1. Listening and choosing the answer.
2. Looking at a picture or a map and choosing the preposition or phrase to describe the location.
3. Reading and choosing true or false.
4. Reading a paragraph and writing sentences about it.
4. Describing what you can do in a neighborhood.
5. House, apartment and furniture vocabulary.
6. Writing questions with “where”.
Homework
1. Prepare for the Unit 3 test.?Here is the link to listen. Come to class on Wednesday and Friday.
2. Complete any late work:

  1. Finish the English in Action 2 Unit 3 Workbook packet.

  2. Finish extra practice ?#3 (practice each skill – you choose how) and then fill out the chart (or you can call me or e-mail me).

  3. Do the neighborhood paragraph assignment.

  4. Draw a picture of your neighborhood or the area around where you work. See F. on p. 61. What are the streets? What is near? You will talk about this tomorrow in a group.

  5. Do voicemail #1 and then turn in the paper to me.
